Tots Early Learning Society, which has been established in the community of Enfield since the early 1980s, has evolved from a small centre operated from the basement of a home - to now being a leading licensed childcare provider in East Hants.
Our centre transitioned from being a privately operated centre to a Not-for-Profit Society in 1999, with a mission of providing the best quality care and learning environment for the children of East Hants.Not-for-Profit Organizations, like ours, are independent, democratic organizations that are run by a Board of community volunteers. All revenue that comes into the centre is reinvested into the organization to support our mission and program delivery.
Tots Early Learning Society is a licensed facility and, as such, is inspected semi-annually by the Province of Nova Scotia. We follow the regulations set out in Nova Scotia’s Early Learning and Child Care Act & Regulations which are monitored by the Education & Early Childhood Development - Early Years Branch.
